Education: Recently completed an MA in Professional Communications, majoring in Media Arts. Some years prior to that I completed a Diploma at TAFE where I majored in Printmaking.

Work: Coordination of multimedia, animation and filmmaking courses at Holmesglen TAFE.

Movies: There is pre and post 1977, better films and filmmakers have come and gone but Star Wars remains the defining event of my generation. I clearly remember seeing the preview (with 'The Island Of Dr Moreau'), I was 8 years old and knew my life had changed in some fundamental and indefinable way. The actual movie was even better.

Hobbies: I make films when I get the chance, have had screenings at festivals in Australia and elsewhere. I like to travel and have been lucky enough to get to some of the overseas locations where films I've worked on have screened, including: Cannes, Telluride, Palm Springs and San Francisco. The super8 camera my parents gave me in the early 80's remains the best gift I ever received.

Other: For years my head was a magnet for balls, I couldn't walk past a playing field without getting hit, this caused great anxiety as the husband of one of my primary school teachers had been killed by a cricket ball, I learned to cope though.
